Associate Grand Bethel Guardian

John Phillips - agbg@azjdi.org

Greetings and thanks for stopping by. I'm John Phillips and the current Associate Grand Bethel Guardian. My involvement with Job's Daughters started eleven years ago when my oldest daughter, Nicole, joined Bethel No. 19 of Glendale, Arizona followed by my youngest daughter Jodi the following year. From the beginning of my daughters' involvement in Job's Daughters, I have been involved in some capacity with Job's Daughters either at the Bethel level as an Associate Bethel Guardian or at the state level as an Associate Grand Guardian this past year.

Prior to becoming involved with Job's Daughters, my family was involved in showing Dalmatians and Schipperkes as a family hobby. We continue to be active members of the Dalmatian Club of Greater Phoenix, Inc. where I serve as Vice-president, Grounds Chairman and Breeder Referral contact. Besides enjoying our dogs, I also enjoy movie watching, listening to music, especially Jimmy Buffett and yes, I am a Parrothead, and of course I enjoy my computer. In fact, I am learning how to use a Mac as my newest computer challenge. I am one of the two Health and Safety Officers at the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University where I am responsible for a variety of things ranging from providing staff education to assisting with hazardous material spills to ensuring we have a safe work environment for staff as well as visitors.

Of course it goes without saying that Job's Daughters has a big place in my life and heart. I have had a wonderful time watching young girls grow and mature into amazing young ladies. It is all the daughters that make it so worthwhile and enjoyable through their smiles, laughter and love. I am excited and honored in being able to serve as the Associate Grand Bethel Guardian this next year and being able to work with the daughters of Arizona Job's Daughters.

Jobie hugs and love,
Mr. John Phillips, AGBG, PAGG, PABG
